Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed his condolences on the demise of former Naval Chief Admiral retired Iftikhar Ahmed Sirohey.

In a statement on Thursday, he prayed for the elevation of the deceased's ranks in the hereafter.

He extended his sympathies to the bereaved family.

The Prime Minister also paid tribute to the late Iftikhar Sirohey for his services to the Pakistan Navy.
