A three-day Spring festival will begin in Islamabad on Saturday.

The inaugural ceremony of the festival will be held at Lake View Park where Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal will be the chief guest.

The event was earlier scheduled to be held on Friday but it was postponed due to the Kashmir Solidarity Day being observed tomorrow.

According to the festival program, band display, horse dance, folk dance, family gala, food festival and fireworks will entertain the public on the first day.

The second day of the festival will include cycling competition, flower exhibition, water sports, arts and crafts gallery.

On the 3rd day, marathon race up to 5 mile, 3 mile and 1 mile will be held.
