Pakistan and China have signed a Memorandum of Understanding for cooperation to increase Pakistan's cotton production through modern technology.

The MoU has been signed between Ayub Agricultural Research Institute of Pakistan and Institute of Cotton Research of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences.

Under the agreement, the Ayub Agricultural Research Institute and ICR will work on genetic improvement of cotton to increase its production and promote Pakistan's cotton industry globally.
