In Afghanistan, the deputy governor Badakhshan province Nissar Ahmad Ahmadi was killed in a car bomb blast on Tuesday.

The provincial spokesperson said driver of the deputy governor was also killed while six civilians were injured in the blast. No group has claimed responsibility of the blast.
