The US military left Bagram Airfield, its key base in Afghanistan in the dead of night without notifying the Afghans.

Talking to media at Bagram airbase, the new commander of Bagram Airfield, General Asadullah Kohistani said, the Taliban have been advancing rapidly in Afghanistan as US troops withdraw.

According to media reports, Taliban have controlled more than seventy percent area of the country.
