A meeting to finalize preparations for the Economic Cooperation Organization Council of Ministers Meeting was held in Islamabad today with Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar in the chair.

The two-day ECO meeting is scheduled to be held in Islamabad from 15th of this month.

Ishaq Dar expressed satisfaction with the progress of preparations and directed all concerned to ensure close coordination for the smooth and successful conduct of the meeting.

He reaffirmed Pakistan's commitment to the ECO and looked forward to welcoming the participating delegations to Islamabad for productive discussions on strengthening regional cooperation.
