Speaker Punjab Assembly, Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan says elected representatives play a crucial role in resolving public issues.

He was addressing participants of Commonwealth Parliamentary Association, Asia and South-East Asia Regional Conference at Punjab Assembly in Lahore on Friday. 

He said conference will help participants benefit from each other’s experiences. He emphasized the need to consider aspects of artificial intelligence in legislation.

Speaker Punjab Assembly said detailed discussions on climate change issues are also a key part of the conference. He said the Lahore Charter would be issued at the conclusion of the conference.
