UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator says Israel’s war on Gaza has turned into a betrayal of humanity.

In a statement on the eve of the six-month anniversary of the war, he called for a collective determination that there be a reckoning for this betrayal of humanity.

He also strongly denounced the Israeli further escalation in the Gaza Strip, stressing that there is no safe place in the Strip.
