Arab League has reinstated the membership of Syria after twelve years of its suspension.
This came at a meeting of Arab League member states in Cairo, Egypt where they voted in favor of Syria.
Syria's return is conditioned to its commitment to ongoing dialogue with Arab governments to gradually reach political solution to the conflict.
The Arab League has also set up a communications committee consisting of Saudi Arabia and Syria’s neighbors Lebanon, Jordan and Iraq to follow up on developments.
