President Asif Ali Zardari and the Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have denounced the targeting of civilian populations across the border by India as a blatant violation of international law.

In their separate statements, they said entire Pakistani nation stands firmly united behind its courageous armed forces. 

President Asif Ali Zardari reaffirmed the country's unwavering commitment to safeguarding its sovereignty and territorial integrity, emphasizing that act of hostility would be responded to with full force.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said Pakistan has every right to give a befitting response to India after its missile strikes on the country.  

Shehbaz Sharif said Pakistan will not allow its enemy to succeed in its nefarious objectives.
