One million Hajj pilgrims, reciting Labbaik Allahumma Labaik, have reached tent city of Mina after performing the ritual of Tawaf Al-Qudum.
Today is the Day of Tarwiyah, the first day of the annual pilgrimage of Hajj.
The pilgrims are performing Hajj for the first time after a hiatus of two years following the travel restrictions caused by the outbreak of coronavirus pandemic.
Hujjaj after overnight stay in Mina tonight will move to Arafat tomorrow for Waqoof-i-Arafa, Rukne- Azam of Hajj which marks the climax of the Hajj pilgrimage.
Our correspondent Ijaz Hussain reports that the Hujjaj will listen to the sermon at Masjid-i-Nimra tomorrow while staying in Arafat.
Dr Al Sheikh Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al Issa will deliver the sermon.
