The cabinet committee on privatization has decided to include Pakistan International Airlines Corporation Limited in the list of active privatisation projects of the ongoing privatisation program.                       

The decision was made at a meeting of the committee which met in Islamabad with Finance Minister Ishaq Dar in the chair.              

During the meeting, the Privatisation Commission presented a summary on detailed update regarding privatization of Roosevelt Hotel.

The meeting gave concurrence to the Privatization Commission for hiring of Financial Adviser to process and structure transaction of Roosevelt Hotel, New York, an asset of PIA.
