9th Thal Jeep rally started at Changa Manga mound near Muzaffargarh today [Thursday].

Today, the registration, tagging, checking of the vehicles and the medical of the drivers were done for the vehicles participating in the rally.

More than 100 vehicles have been registered. There will be four categories of competitions in the rally.

Women Racers have also registered their vehicles in the rally. The total track of the rally is about 195 Kilometers which covers Muzaffargarh, Layyah and Kot Addu districts.

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has directed for all out arrangements for the rally.  She also welcomed the participation of female drivers in the rally.

Besides the main rally, the event will also feature traditional sports like Kabbadi, Tent Pegging and Horse Dance Shows.
