Interior Mohsin Naqvi has expressed Pakistan’s commitment to ensure justice and enhancing security for Chinese nationals working in the country.
He was talking to Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong during his visit to Chinese Embassy in Islamabad following an incident in Karachi where two Chinese nationals were injured by from a security guard.
Interior Minister said government is taking all possible measures to protect Chinese citizens and assets linked to CPEC. He said additional security protocols are being implemented to create a safe and stable environment especially where Chinese nationals reside or work.
Showing solidarity and diplomatic engagement during his meeting with Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zedong, Interior Minister expressed regret over incident.
Speaking on the occasion, Chinese Ambassador expressed China’s appreciation for Pakistan’s quick response to the Karachi incident and its dedication to securing Chinese interests in the region.
