At least 16 people were killed and 18 others wounded on Saturday in a bus crash on the international highway in the Sinai Peninsula in north-eastern Egypt.

Egypt's Health Ministry in a statement said accident occurred as fog reduced visibility that led a bus to hit a mini bus heading to South Sinai province.
