Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has warned that the opposition leaders' attempt to drag Army into politics would be harmful for democracy, besides benefitting internal and external enemies of the country.

Talking to a private news channel today (Monday), he said the opposition parties should play a responsible role and avoid dragging Army into politics.

The Interior Minister said the politicians affiliated to opposition parties are making hue and cry to escape accountability but Prime Minister Imran Khan is committed to hold all corrupt elements accountable.
