President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have expressed deep grief over the demise of senior PPP leader and founding member Taj Haider.

In their separate condolence messages, they commiserated with the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace of the deceased.

In his message, the President paid tribute to late Taj Haider's services for the Party and democracy.

He said Taj Haider was an asset for Pakistan People's Party and his death has deprived the party of an important leader and ideological worker.

In his message, the Prime Minister said Pakistan has lost an important political leader with Taj Haider's death.
