Professor Dr Hassan Askari Rizvi took oath as the Punjab caretaker chief minister in a ceremony held in Lahore on Friday.

Governor Punjab Rafique Rajwana administered oath.

In a statement, caretaker chief minister said transparent, fair and free election is the top most priority of the government.

He said he will fulfill national responsibility of holding fair and free elections. The caretaker government will ensure equal opportunity for all to participate in general elections.

Similarly, Caretaker Balochistan Chief Minister Allauddin Marri has taken oath of office in Quetta.

Governor Balochistan Mehmood Khan Achakzai administered oath to the caretaker chief minister.
