Election Commission of Pakistan has uploaded on its website all the forms relating to the election results.

These include forms 45, 46, 48 and 49.

The commission yesterday had issued formal notification of winning candidates in the general elections.

ECP rejects impression of delay in process of formation of new govt

Election Commission of Pakistan has rejected the impression of delay in the process of formation of new government.

In a statement today (Wednesday), the ECP spokesperson said after the elections on 25th of last month, successful candidates have to submit expenditure details to ECP within ten days under Section 98 (3) of Election Act 2017.

He said the Commission issued the notification of successful candidates yesterday.

Moreover, the independents have to join a political party within three days of this notification under article 51 (d) as well as submitting an affidavit till tomorrow.

He said the notification regarding allotment of reserved seats to political parties will be issued on Saturday next.

He said accusing ECP of causing delay is wrong and contrary to Election Act 2017.
