Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain has congratulated National Command and Operation Centre on completion of 500 days of its establishment and successfully evolving a comprehensive strategy to prevent spread of the Covid-19 pandemic.

In a statement issued today, he said the NCOC, since its inception, has taken decisions in view of scientific and ground realities to combat the pandemic.

He said the government pursued a balanced strategy of smart lockdown that was focused on safeguarding the poor and the daily wage-earners as per vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan and NCOC guidelines.
