Advisor to Finance Minister Khurram Schehzad has said that the IMF has recgonized Pakistan's stronger economic stability, resilience and policy credibility.

Mentioning the staff level agreement reached between Pakistan and the IMF in a post on X handle, he described it as a significant milestone for Pakistan's economic stabilization and reform journey.

Khurram Schehzad said Pakistan is demonstrating its ability to withstand external shocks, preserve macroeconomic stability, strengthen institutional credibility and regain international investor confidence.

The Advisor said The IMF's assessment provides important independent recognition that macroeconomic stabilisation is being accompanied by continued reform implementation while reinforcing the importance of sustaining and deepening this momentum.
