Qualifying rounds of Thal Jeep Rally were completed at Chaanga Maaga near Muzaffargarh today.          

Overall 86 racers of various categories participated in the qualifying round.

In the Prepared category, Mir Nadir Magsi finished the track of the qualifying round in 1 minute 34 seconds 20 points and stood first.

Faisal Shadi Khel finished second while

Asif Fazal Chaudhry finished third in the pre-paired category.

In the stock category, Syed Asif Imam finished the track in one minute and 46 seconds and stood first.     

In the women category, Dina Patel stood first position finishing the track in one minute and 51 seconds.

Following the qualifying round, the main competitions of rally will begin tomorrow with stock category in the racing.  Competition of prepared and women categories will be held on Sunday.            

Colourful cultural events have also been arranged during the four-day event of the rally.
