In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, ‘Chant Jai Shri Ram or leave Kashmir’, a purely Hindu slogan, has become Modi-led fascist Indian government’s new diktat for the Kashmiris.

An analytical report released by Kashmir Media Service, today, said that Indian troops during cordon and search operations barge into civilian houses, drag inmates out in the middle of the night and order them to chant the Hindu slogan.

Those who refuse to comply, the report added, are subjected to severe torture and violence.

They also face life or imprisonment threats as RSS goons are out to convert India as well as occupied Kashmir into a Hindu rashtra.

Hurriyat leader Bilal Ahmad Sidiqui in a statement in Srinagar, today, strongly denounced India's colonial designs to change the demography of the territory.

On the other hand, Sopore Fruit Mandi observed complete shutdown to extend support to the Sikh farmers in India.

Members of United Sikh Forum, led by Bikram Singh, also staged a sit-in at Press Enclave in Srinagar to express solidarity with protesting farmers.

Jammu and Kashmir People's Movement staged a protest demonstration in Jammu to denounce India’s brutal policies against the farmers, mostly from Sikh community.

Meanwhile, the US-based renowned intellectual, Prof Noam Chomsky speaking virtually at an event in Karachi said that India under Prime Minister Narendra Modi is destroying the remnants of secular democracy, crushing Muslim rights and placing occupied Jammu and Kashmir under a vicious brutal rule.
