Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Farrukh Habib has termed Malik Adnan as a national hero and beacon of light for the entire nation against extremism.

In a tweet, the Minister of State said Prime Minister Imran Khan has appreciated Malik Adnan who demonstrated bravery to protect the life of Priyantha Kumara while endangering his own life during the mob attack on the Sri Lankan national in Sialkot.

He also shared snap of the certificate of appreciation awarded to Malik Adnan by Prime Minister Imran Khan to recognize his bravery.
