Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Industries and Production, Tasneem Ahmad Qureshi has said that Pakistan Steel Mills is a great asset for the country and a plan is being devised for its revival.
Talking to media after his visit to the Pakistan Steel Mill in Karachi on Thursday, the Special Assistant to the PM said that the revival of the mill will take some time and assured that all the issues and problems in this regard will be addressed.
He said the Government is taking all possible steps for the development and promotion of industrial sector which holds and essential spot in the country’s economy.
Replying to a question about the gas supply, Tasneem Ahmad Qureshi said that efforts are being made to overcome the shortage of gas.
The Special Assistant said Pakistan North-South Gas Pipeline Project is also being completed for this very purpose.
He urged all the political parties to sit together and solve the issue of price hike for the benefit of the people.
