Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has sought nominations for the annual National Hifz-o-Qira'at competition from the provincial governments, armed forces, Islamabad Capital Territory, Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.

According to Ministry's Spokesperson Muhammad Umar Butt, instructions have been given to hold competitions at the district and provincial levels. He said provinces are required to send their nominations by 15th of the next month.

Provinces have been instructed to hold competitions and send nominations by January 15.

The spokesperson said winners at the provincial level will be able to participate in the national Hifz-o-Qira'at competition.

He said winners of the national competition will get opportunities to participate in the international contests.
