Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan visited the residence of Major Muhammad Haseeb Shaheed in Rawalpindi today, who embraced martyrdom while defending the motherland in Harnai district of Balochistan last month.

The Governor extended his condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the elevation of ranks of the martyr's soul.

Sardar Saleem Haider Khan said martyrs like Major Muhammad Haseeb, are our pride and their sacrifices will not go in vain.

He said the nation will never forget the sacrifices of the martyrs and their families.
