Amb Masood Khalid: Pakistan seeks friendly relations with United States as the US is an important country in the world. We have collaborated with each other on a number of occasions in Afghanistan and other international platforms in the  past. Right now we are waiting for placement of new team of US President.  In South Asia the US has categorized India as next security partner. Pakistan has made all out endevours to maintain good relations with the US, China and other countries. Even then we have good security and defense cooperation with the US and I am sure that Pakistan would not lose its equation for the US in South Asian context. Actually the US is viewing Pakistan in the lens of China and India so this approach must be reviewed. We will collaborate with China and the US equally whenever it is required.
