Lt. Gen R Abdul Qayyum (Defense Analyst): Pahalgam incident is a false flag by India. Pakistan has nothing to do with it as Pakistan gets no benefit from such acts. India has been involved in terrorism in Pakistan. Even Indian involvement in terrorism in the US has been exposed. Indian carries out false flag operation whenever any high level US dignitary is in India. Pakistan has responded in a befitting manner to Indian threats. It is sheer impotence of India that no country can part ways from international treaties. Moreover, stopping flow of water of river is deemed to be an act of war and it can have serious fall outs. UN charter says that action will be taken against any country for carrying out any act which may affect any region. Geneva Convention also has such articles and clauses. War can erupt on false information therefore the international community must take notice of Indian acts.

AVM (R) Ijaz Malik (Defense Analyst): Indian wants to become policeman in the region and other countries as obedient and subservient. Pakistan can’t become obedient because we are a nuclear country. Whenever Pakistan comes into a power to offer on economic front to the world or region; Indians go for carrying out false flag operations to malign Pakistan. We are peaceful and want to live peacefully but our desire for peace may not be considered as weakness. This has been described in the statement of National Security Committee in yesterday’s meeting. Indian involvement in Balochistan and other areas in Pakistan have been traced out and we have presented evidences of it. Indians can’t afford any country in the region progressing.

 Brig Haris Nawaz (Defense Analyst): Pakistan has sent a message of condolence to grieved families at Pehlagam. Pakistan has been victim of terrorism. Indian social media was on fake anti-Pakistan propaganda within five minutes of Pehlgam incident. How cross LoC movement is possible when every inch it is manned by Indian forces. One lac Indian troops are based in IIOJK. Indian army chief and other leadership are creating war hysteria against Pakistan and inciting Indian public against Pakistan. They are changing demography in IIOJK. It is time that we should tell Russia, China and Iran that we are the worst victim of terrorism. Pakistan military, Pakistan air force is red alert so India should not go for any kind of misadventure. Indian ruling BJP could not win elections in IIOJK and a number of other states so they are trying to get public support for election by misleading the people. There were 500 social media accounts linked to RAW were used for propaganda against Pakistan. It is warning to India that we will respond strongly to any misadventure. Therefore, it is responsibility of the US, EU, OIC and anybody else whoever matters to tell India to behave responsibly.

 Hafiz Ehsan Ahmad Khokhar (Legal Expert): India under Modi has been taken strange steps and suspension of Indus Water Treaty is an example. India can’t suspend this treaty unilaterally. This treaty was concluded under World Bank’s guarantee at the requests of Indian leadership. As per article 12 of treaty no country can suspend this treaty unilaterally. Therefore, Indian government’s statement is not rational or sane because World Bank and Geneva Convention are very much alive and active in the world. Therefore, I think that Indian statement regarding suspension of Indus Water Treaty is for domestic political consumption. However, our national security committee has categorically warned India that any act of diversion of water would be deemed as an act of war. We reserve numerous options in the wake of any such action from India. Whole nation is united behind our security forces to respond India forcefully.
