The Government of Pakistan continues its robust anti-smuggling crackdown, focusing on revitalizing the national economy and tackling pressing economic challenges.
As part of this campaign, authorities have successfully intercepted large quantities of smuggled goods in recent operations.
Over the past week alone, 2.5 metric tons of wheat flour, 180 cartons of cigarettes, 328 rolls of fabric, and 0.248 million liters of Iranian oil were seized across the country.
Since the commencement of this initiative on September 1, 2023, over thirteen thousand metric tons of fertilizer, over three-thousand seven hundred metric tons of flour, over thirty-five thousand metric tons of sugar, over four million cigarette stocks, over twenty-two million liters of Iranian oil and over fifteen hundred thousand cloth rolls have been seized.
