Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that the government is committed to deal with corrupt mafia with iron hand and accountability process will continue across the board.

Addressing a news conference in Sialkot on Sunday, she said corrupt mafia are behind the artificial shortage of flour and sugar with a planned effort to malign the government but they will be frustrated.

She said that National exchequer had been badly plundered during the previous regimes.

Special Assistant said that public has full confidence in Imran Khan’s leadership and his capabilities to transform the country into Quid-e-Azam ’s Pakistan.

She expressed the confidence that the PTI government will achieve good governance by introducing reforms in various institutions, including FBR and Police.

Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan said the government is committed to control inflation and provide immediate relief to the masses.
