Pakistan's Ambassador Designate to Saudi Arabia calls on Religious Minister

Pakistan's Ambassador Designate to Saudi Arabia Lieutenant General Retired Bilal Akbar called on Minister for Religious Affairs Noor ul Haq Qadri in Islamabad today (Friday).

Pak-Saudi relations, Hajj and Umrah pilgrimages, establishment of Pakistan House in Makkah and Madinah and other issues came under discussion during the meeting.

They reaffirmed the commitment to better care for Pakistanis in Saudi Arabia and boost bilateral ties.

Noor Ul Haq Qadri stressed the need to further strengthen the Pakistan-Saudi Arabia friendship.  

Meanwhile, Minister for Religious Affairs Noor-ul-Haq Qadri along with UAE Ambassador to Pakistan Hamad Obaid Ibrahimi AlZaabi inaugurated the Shams-ur-Ramesi Mosque in Islamabad today.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister thanked the UAE government for gifting this mosque to Pakistan.

The UAE Ambassador assured that cooperation from his country will continue. He said we are also working on various projects in Pakistan to be completed soon.
