Election to the office of Senate Chairman and Deputy Chairman will be held today in the Senate hall.

Announcing the election schedule, Presiding Officer Ishaq Dar said that the duly filled nomination papers will be received by the Secretary Senate in his office before eleven am today. Scrutiny of nomination papers will take place at eleven fifteen am.

The Presiding Officer has adjourned the proceedings of the house till twelve thirty.
