Pakistan and Denmark have agreed on a two billion dollar partnership for the development of maritime infrastructure due to the efforts of Special Investment Facilitation Council.

The plan includes upgrading logistics infrastructure and generating renewable energy from the ports.

The primary objective of the project is to reduce environmental pollution and align the maritime industry with better energy resources and technologies.

Adopting modern maritime technologies is expected to increase Pakistan's exports and promote long-term economic growth.
