Deputy Speaker National Assembly Zahid Akram Durrani has said that visit of Chairman of Majlis Al Shura Saudi Arabia depicts strong Parliament to Parliament contacts between both nations.

This was stated by the deputy speaker of NA during a meeting with Chairman of Majlis Al- Shura Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Dr Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al -Sheikh who called on him in Islamabad on Tuesday.

It is pertinent to mention that Saudi Parliamentary delegation led by Chairman of Majlis Al-Shura Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is on official visit in Pakistan for participating in international Constitutional convention to commemorate Golden Jubilee celebration of constitution which is scheduled to be held in Islamabad on Wednesday.

While warmly welcoming Saudi Parliamentary Delegation led by Chairman of Majlis Al-Shura Dr Abdullah bin Mohammad bin Ibrahim Al-Sheikh, Deputy Speaker National Zahid Akram Durrani said that Pakistani people always look with reverence to their brethren in Saudi Arabia.

He said Pakistan as nation always stands with Saudi Arabia. He expressed the hope that this visit would further enhance the ties between both nations.

Chairman of Majlis Al-Shura Dr Abdullah bin Mohammad bin Ibrahim Al-Sheikh said on the occasion that Pakistani nation and its people have always been close to Saudi Arabia. He prayed that Pakistan may continue to progress.
