Federal Minister for Railways Azam Khan Swati has announced to give 1.5 million rupees to each family of the deceased in Ghotki train accident.

Talking to newsmen in Lahore today (Wednesday) , Minister for Railways Azam Khan Swati said fifty to three hundred thousand rupees will be disbursed  to injured people in the incident .

He said an independent investigation into the train accident will conduct and responsible will not be spared.

Federal Minister for Railways said he was present at the scene till the rescue operation was completed while Army helicopters participated to shift the injured people to the hospital.
