Provincial disaster management authorities of Punjab, Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have issued alert in view of heavy rains likely to start tomorrow.

In a statement, Disaster Management Authority Punjab Spokesman instructed the administrations of major cities to remain vigilant and make necessary arrangements in anticipation of potential urban flooding.

NDMA's National Emergencies Operation Center has anticipated that scattered rainfall, windstorms, and thunderstorms are expected across various regions of Sindh province, including Kashmore, Karachi, Hyderabad, Thatta, Umerkot, Badin, Mithi, Tharparkar, and adjacent areas within the next 12 to 24 hours.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Disaster Management Authority  also issued an alert about possible damages due to heavy rains and thunderstorm spell starting from tomorrow.

The spell will continue till Monday.
