Newly-elected President, Arif Alvi is taking oath of the office at a ceremony in Islamabad on Sunday. 

Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Mian Saqib Nisar will administer oath to him.

The term of outgoing President Mamnoon Hussain had ended yesterday (Saturday).

Arif Alvi won the presidential election on Tuesday last by securing three hundred and fifty-two votes in the electoral college of National and Provincial Assemblies and the Senate.
