A five member larger bench of the Supreme Court has dismissed intra court appeal of PML (N) leader Talal Chaudhry against his conviction in contempt of court case.

The bench headed by Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar heard the case.

In a contempt of court case earlier, the court had sentenced the PML (N) leader till the rising of the court and according to its judgment he cannot contest the elections for five years.
