Nation celebrated Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAWW) with religious zeal, fervor

The nation celebrated Eid Milad-un-Nabi Sallallah-o-Alaihe Wa Aalehe Wassallum today (Sunday) with traditional zeal and fervour, renewing the pledge to transform their lives in line with the teachings of the Holy Prophet Sallallah-o-Alaihe Wa Aalehe Wassallum. 

The day dawned with 31-gun salute in the federal capital and 21-gun salute at provincial capitals.

Special prayers were offered in mosques for upholding and flourishing of Islam and unity, solidarity, progress, and welfare of the Muslim Ummah.

A number of activities, including processions, seminars, conferences and discussion programmes were organized across the country to mark the annual religious event.

Streets, roads, markets and buildings were beautifully decorated and illuminated with lights, colours and banners bearing writings about the celebration of Eid Milad-un-Nabi Sallallah-o-Alaihe Wa Aalehe Wassallum.

LAHORE

Punjab government celebrated Ashra-e-Rehmatul-Lil-Alemeen (PBUH) at the government level with religious devotion, respect, zeal and fervour and holding different ceremonies today.

On the directions of Chief Minister Parvez Elahi, official buildings have been decorated across Punjab.

In a statement, the Chief Minister said that the love and devotion with the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) is the fundamental part of the faith of every Muslim. 

KARACHI

In Karachi, the main procession of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (Peace Be Upon Him) was taken out from Memon Mosque, which after passing through the traditional route will culminate at Nishtar Park Karachi where the main Mehfil-e-Milad will be held.

Small processions are also taken out from different parts of the city that will be culminated at their designated spots.

PESHAWAR

In Peshawar, the City Traffic Police Peshawar devised a comprehensive plan for smooth traffic flow on occasion of Eid-Milad-un-Nabi (SAWW).

According to details, more than one-thousand traffic police personnel will be on special assignment today to ensure smooth traffic flow and clearance of routes for the Eid Milad-un-Nabi SAW processions and other ceremonies in the city.

QUETTA

Like elsewhere in the country, Eid Milad-un-Nabi Sallallah-o-Alaihe Wa Alehi Wasallam was also celebrated in Balochistan with religious zeal and fervour today.

On this occasion, a procession of faithful has been taken out from Saryab Road which marches through its conventional routes and will culminate at Jamiat Roy Road in Quetta city.

Quetta police and other law enforcement agencies have taken tight security measures to maintain law and order on the occasion of Eid-ul-Milad-un-Nabi.

AJK

In Mirpur Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) processions and rallies were taken out from various parts of the city and other parts of the district.

All the processions later joined the main Milad procession taken out from Markazi Jamia Mosque Maulana Abdul Hakeem at the central Allama Iqbal Road.

A large number of people from all spheres of life joined the procession.
