Prime Minister's Adviser on Industries and Production Haroon Akhtar Khan has said that new rules are being formulated for the inspection of industrial units to protect the rights of both industrialists and government inspectors.

He said this while addressing a meeting at the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry today.

The Adviser said that existing regulations in several public-sector departments were around 50 years old and needed to be updated.
