Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal, chaired a meeting of the committee constituted by the Prime Minister to enhance bilateral cooperation and trade between Pakistan and Indonesia.

The meeting was held in preparation for the first official visit of Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto to Pakistan.

Highlighting the significance of the Indonesian President’s visit, Ahsan Iqbal said this landmark visit will open new avenues for trade and cooperation between Pakistan and Indonesia.

The Minister stressed the importance of promoting collaboration in education, health, IT, and tourism, suggesting the provision of scholarships in IT and healthcare sectors for students from both countries to facilitate mutual learning and capacity building.
