The United Nations has announced a plan to provide assistance to nine million needy Afghans this year.
The Food and Agriculture Organization office of the United Nations in a tweet said we continue reaching the most remote rural areas in Afghanistan.
It said the FAO received a 65-million-U.S. dollar contribution from the Asian Development Bank for Afghanistan.
It said the grant would boost food security and support livelihoods in the cash-strapped Asian country.
