Advisor to Finance Minister Khurram Schehzad says the remittances from Pakistani workers continued to surge by twenty-five percent in January this year amounting to three billion dollars.
In a post on social media platform X today, he said the cumulative workers’ remittances from July 2024 to January 2025 surged by thirty-two percent amounting to twenty point eight billion dollars.
Khurram Schehzad expressed the hope that at this rate, the full-year remittances will cross a record mark of thirty five billion dollars, providing support to country's externals.
