In India, over five hundred thousand people particularly Muslims have been evicted forcefully from their living places last year.

According to a report issued by New Delhi-based Housing and Land Rights Network, there is a significant surge in the number of home demolitions across the country. 

Muslims, being the marginalized section of India, are facing relentless situation and judicial directives are playing a significant role for their eviction from their homes.
