Chairman Senate Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani has said that Pakistan stands with the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and will never back down from support their of right to self-determination.

Talking to a delegation of local government representatives from different parts of Azad Jammu and Kashmir in Islamabad, he paid tribute to the sacrifices of the Kashmiri people.

Chairman Senate further said that a peaceful settlement of Kashmir dispute as per the UN resolutions is need of the hour and India must give up its stubbornness and give the Kashmiri people their legitimate rights.

He also called upon the international community to take notice of the ongoing Indian atrocities in IIOJK and take practical steps to ensure the fundamental rights of the Kashmiri people.
