Pakistan's Permanent Representative to the UN Asim Iftikhar has underscored the importance of multilateralism in light of the global challenges.

Interacting with the United Nations Staff Recreation Council (UNSRC)- Pakistan Club at the UN headquarters in New York, he emphasized the need for greater collaboration between the UN Secretariat and member states to understand each other’s perspectives and limitations.

He also stated that cultural diplomacy and people to people interactions play an important role in building bridges of mutual understanding and harmony.
