Educational Boards have announced cancellation of exams scheduled on Wednesday.

Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Punjab Board, British Council and other examination boards, in their statements announced to postpone paper scheduled on Wednesday due to prevailing situation in the country.

All Pakistan Private Schools Federation also announced that all schools would remain closed. 

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has decided to close all public and private educational institutions from today till Saturday. According to a notification issued by the provincial Elementary and Secondary Education, the ongoing matric examinations have also been postponed till Saturday.

Punjab government has postponed the paper of ninth class annual examinations which was to be held on Wednesday. According to spokesperson of the provincial School Education Department a new date for the paper will be announced later. He said public and private educational institutions will also remain closed across Punjab today.

Meanwhile, This was stated by Sindh Minister for Universities and Boards Muhammad Ismail Rahu said that matric examinations in Sindh will continue as per schedule. He urged parents and students not to pay heed to rumors in this regard.
