The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) has approved the execution of the agreement of Roosevelt Hotel, New York with the Hotel Union and the New York City Government.

The approval was accorded during a meeting chaired by Minister for Finance and Revenue Muhammad Ishaq Dar on Wednesday. A summary on re-opening of Roosevelt Hotel and the outcome of negotiations were discussed in the meeting.

The ECC also approved Technical Supplementary Grants of 153 million rupees in favour of Ministry of Water Resources for payment of court cases fee for the settlement of the dispute with India under the Indus Waters Treaty.
