Mainly very hot and dry weather is expected in most plain areas of the country during next twelve hours.
However, Gusty winds are likely in central and southern Punjab and lower Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with rain-wind and thunderstorm in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan, Kashmir, Islamabad, Pothohar region and northeast Punjab in the afternoon.

According to Met Office forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, hot weather during the day with chances of rain-thunderstorm during evening and night is likely Srinagar, Pulwama, Anantnag and Baramula, very hot during the day with chances of rain-thunderstorm during evening and night in Jammu, partly cloudy with chances of rain-thunderstorm is expected in Leh.
